ronni kimm

Ronni Kimm is an artist, designer and educator based in New York and Los Angeles. As the former director of ART2102, a non-profit arts initiative in Los Angeles, she investigated the relationship between aesthetics, social practice and networks. She recently co-edited and published Dispatches and Directions: On Artist-Run Organizations in Los Angeles, a compendium of works, thoughts, essays and a directory of artist-run and non-profit projects. In conjunction with the publication, she organized a series of public discussions at LAXART, Outpost for Contemporary Art, and Collective Show Los Angeles at Human Resources. Ronni also teaches at the California Institute of the Arts and Otis College of Art & Design and advises primarily cultural organizations, nonprofits, and technology start-up ventures on various digital and online initiatives. She holds an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts and a BA from Cornell University.
